Seises Alm Urthaler is located in the north-east of the Dolomites, in the UNESCO natural world heritage, on the highest and largest plateau Europes called Alpe di Siusi. The hotel is on an altitude of 1.850 meters above sea level in the small village Compatsch, surrounded by green meadows and one of the most sensational mountain ranges in the world.
The hamlet Compatsch offers a few shops and bars with its typical mountain charm and is also the starting point for hiking tours in the summer, skiing and cross country in the winter season.
The world famous skiing and hiking area is known as a fairly sunny place: On average the sun is shining on 310 days of the year. 60 sq km of rocks and Alps provide a truly unique background to hikers and skiers alike. In winter, some 23 ski lifts and gondolas take you to a total of 70 km of ski slopes. In summer you can look forward to a rich flora and fauna along the 300 km long local hiking trails. |
